The Prevention Specialist for the Connexion program will require a background check separate of Hope Network New Passages.
Access in to the assigned Public School is contingent upon passing the Public School's background check which will be conducted by the assigned Public School's administration.
Conviction of offences that will disqualify a candidate include, but are not limited to: a. Felonies b. Convictions related to drugs c. Convictions related to abuse
One-year work-related experience in substance abuse prevention, Health education/ Heath promotion, and coalition participation.
Experience working with diverse populations
Must be able to work in an independent and self-directed manner.
Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite (Word and Excel).
Minimum of 20 CEU required annually.
