Deep knowledge of NY title insurance standards, NYTIS policies, ALTA policies, and NY underwriting guidelines
Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents, surveys, maps, and plats
Excellent written communication – clear precise cover letter writing is essential
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of NY files
Familiarity with SoftPro software preferred
