Understand gluing and centering to specific tolerances which includes multiple areas/products required
Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 60 pounds
Basic proficiency with computers including an ERP system and Microsoft Office required
Must be able to pass an audiogram test
This will be a third shift (11:00pm-7:30am Sunday-Thursday) position at our Racine facility (8635 Washington Avenue, Mt Pleasant, WI).
Those working in the Aerospace department must be able to pass a Vision, Color Vision, and Depth perception test
The Assembler II is responsible for assembling parts according to specified Work Instructions and/or Drawings and exhibits the ability to effectively complete critical component assemblies.
3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired
High School Degree/GED Preferred
If applicable, ability to use function generators and multimeter test equipment
Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day

Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations
Review work orders to plan the most efficient method of production to minimize changeovers and maximize raw materials
Computer skills: working in networked environment using a Windows and or Windows like interface using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word software programs
Complete special projects as assigned
The Mechanical Assembler manages our ERP system to track progression of job work orders and inventory transactions
Complete and verify product checklists for all completed orders
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience
Time Management and Organization skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality
Requires the ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, crimpers, meters, and soldering equipment
Complete quality inspections for co-workers as required
Assemble and wire mechanical parts per work orders to produce the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures
