Associate's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Associate's degree that meets local regulatory – Bachelor's degree is a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technologist/Technician
FL State Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required
ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant state regulations
Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment
Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
Must be available to work Tuesday - Saturday (6 AM- 2:30 PM) rotating every other weekend 1st Shift
