All imaging specialists are required to maintain current competency in HCP BLS.
Requires advanced certification in MR within one year of employment.
Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and must maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.
Prior education, training and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks.

Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB-approved program in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.
Certification in one of the following required-Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), CNMT.
Level I: Candidates are required to have completed primary ARRT certification and be currently enrolled in an approved structured education program.
Pre-requisite Coursework- Acceptance into an MRI Program.
Level II- Candidates must be actively enrolled in a structured educational program and have completed at least 750 clinical hours or one-half of the required competencies or clinical hours required for certification; whichever is greater.
BLS certification required.
Level III – Candidates must be actively enrolled in a structured educational program and have completed at least 2,000 clinical hours or three-quarters of the required competencies or clinical hours for certification, whichever is greater.
