The PCX Mechanical Assembler 1 is responsible for completing all assigned work according to specifications in a high quality and safe manner
Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures
Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions
Can properly assemble hardware stacks, mechanical assemblies with great attention to detail
Can properly assemble hardware stacks, mechanical assemblies and have an eye for detail
Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives
Ability to work up to 10 hours per day and weekends as required
Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships
Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications
Complete Time Reporting Sheets
Background check and drug-screen are required
Should have the ability to read assembly documentation and provide high quality of work with guidance
The Mechanical Assembler 1 should be able to read assembly documentation and provide high quality of work with guidance
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
The Mechanical Assembler 1 is required to follow the instructions of the supervisor and suggest improvements
Ability to safely and efficiently build, lift and move sub-assemblies and both switch board electrical and mechanical components
The Mechanical Assembler 1 is capable of assembling hardware stacks, mechanical assemblies
Ability to pass the PCX training program
Ability to work closely with small teams
Listens and follows directions from supervisors and management
Able to lift 35 pounds consistently and team lift 70 pounds
Ability to read a metric tape measure and familiar with metric system a plus
Desire to produce quality products to be used in larger assemblies
Able to use basic hand tools/power tools such as drills, saws, nut drivers, screw drivers and torque
Report inventory use as required
Ability to work on ladders (up to 10 feet), lifts(with harness) and stand or sit for long periods of time
Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean
Defers to lead for any discrepancies before taking action to remedy problems
Adheres to PCX Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards
Must have reliable transportation
