Currently enrolled in a State-approved CNA program
May work for a single consecutive period of four (4)months.
At the conclusion of the four (4) month period the Nurse Aide in Training must meet the certification requirementsto become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
CPR certification must remain current duringemployment.
Have completed the state Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) exams
Hold a “NAC Pending” status
Have not worked at another facility under their current NAR registration
