Bachelor's degree in nursing or other degree in nursing with acceptance or current enrollment in a BSN program and signed agreement
Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification are required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
9 months of professional nursing experience
Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills
Demonstrates good time and resource management skills and flexibility skills
Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to operate unit specific equipment
Undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards

Entry-Level Machinist
A growing manufacturing company is seeking an Entry-Level Machinist to join its production team
Training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Assist with setup and operation of production machinery used in metal forming and manufacturing processes
Learn machining techniques including measuring, cutting, forming, and equipment adjustments
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
Use hand tools, measuring tools, and inspection equipment to ensure quality standards are met
Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
Monitor production runs and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Work closely with supervisors and experienced machinists to learn processes and improve skills
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, metal fabrication, warehouse, automotive repair, or other hands-on mechanical work preferred
Basic ability to read a tape measure, calipers, or other measuring tools preferred
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining skills
Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
