Third Shift Lead Operator AMD/Changeover

Proficient understanding of and ability to operate and train on a minimum of five of the following job operations: Pasteurizer, SPC, Labeler, Brine maker, Capper, Tray pack, and Crewleader.
Failure to achieve proficiency on at least 5th operation within one hundred eighty (180) days from date of placement – to be extended only by mutual agreement of the Company and the Union – will result in disqualification from the Lead Operator position and relegation to one of the bid operations that are part of the Lead Operator position for which the operator is qualified.
Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Ability to push/pull, climb, sit, twist and reach.
Ability to stand the majority of shift and walk and frequently.
Ability to graph, use a thermometer, read a graduated cylinder, and perform other similar functions.
Ability to compile, analyze and report data.
Basic math and computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Available to work different shifts and overtime, including weekend overtime.

High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
3+ years of supervisory or leading teams experience
Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety standards
Experience with preventive maintenance program
You will be regularly required to stand, walk, and communicate throughout your shift.
You may occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving reaching, kneeling, or crouching.
You will work in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
You will need visual acuity for close and distance vision, color differentiation, and depth perception.
