What You'll Be Doing
Research property records to identify the owners of specific homes
Find the best way to reach them
Have a friendly, low-pressure conversation to see if they'd be open to a conversation about selling
Use your computer and various research tools to locate property owners and their contact information
Reach out by phone or, in some cases, in person to introduce Smooth Closing and gauge their interest
Much of the work is systematic and process-driven
You'll get good at it quickly and settle into a routine that you can own
You'll be working closely with our small, tight-knit team
Your contribution directly fuels the company's ability to close deals
This role is a mix of research, strategy, problem-solving, and in-home appointments
You will:
Work from our office to research and locate homeowners on small, highly targeted lists
Strategize the best approach to reach each homeowner (this is not mass outreach)
Meet homeowners in person at their property to understand their situation
Present fair, win-win solutions and guide sellers through the process
Follow up consistently and persistently until you get a clear yes or no
Work closely with leadership and operations to get deals across the finish line
This role rewards people who enjoy the hunt, can think independently, and don't need constant supervision to perform at a high level
