5–7 years of full-time paralegal experience on the plaintiff side of Texas personal injury work (MVA, premises, product, dog-bite, wrongful death, or catastrophic injury)
Working command of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Texas Rules of Evidence, and CPRC Chapters 16, 33, 41, and 71
Proven track record drafting petitions and discovery without heavy attorney rewrites — you are a writer, not just a form-filler
Strong understanding of Texas county/district court e-filing, service of process, citations, and scheduling orders in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant Counties
Hands-on experience with case management software (Filevine strongly preferred; Litify, SmartAdvocate, or CASEpeer experience also valued)
Comfort handling subrogation, ERISA, Medicare/Medicaid set-asides, and lien negotiation
Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, calm, professional, and client-centered
