Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or certificate in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field required
Several years of litigation experience with familiarity throughout the litigation process, from case initiation through post-trial procedures
Knowledge of litigation procedures, including court rules, filing requirements, deadlines, and case management
Familiarity with both the Texas state and federal court systems
Ability to draft and format a wide range of legal documents, including motions, discovery requests, and trial documents
Experience with document collection, review, and production
Experience preparing, serving, and tracking subpoenas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and attorneys
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and detailed legal documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with document management systems such as iManage
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, evolving legal processes, and new technology in a litigation environment
On-site in-office position, Monday through Friday, located in the Galleria area of Houston
