Must possess or obtain a Massachusetts Grade I Industrial Wastewater License
Must be physically capable of performing demanding work at various heights and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and in fire/emergency activities.
Climb to top of tank (200+ steps)
Required to pass written and practical examinations to maintain employment.
Carry 20-pound tool kit to top of tank or the ship.

Operators are hired under a 6-month probationary period and are evaluated prior to the end of the 6-month period for continued employment.
All responsibilities must be met in a rotating shift environment, including overtime, holidays, weekends and nights.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of 49 CFR 193.
Scale vertical steel ladders up to forty feet or more in height
Must be physically capable of entering and working in a confined space (crawl spaces, shafts, small, enclosed areas, pipes and the like) as required.
Eyesight corrected at 20/40 to accurately read and interpret such as but not limited to instruments, gauges, and manuals.
