High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities work
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and carpentry
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Basic computer skills for maintaining maintenance records and inventory
Good communication skills for interacting with residents, staff, and visitors
Availability to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours
Must pass a background check and all pre-employment screenings
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
