Finishing Technician
Operate and maintain washing stations and other finishing equipment used in the production process.
Operate centrifugal finishing equipment for small parts (7 inches or less).
Good visual acuity and color differentiation.
Perform bead blasting on small parts (7 inches or less).
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
Operate buffing equipment for parts up to 7 inches in size.
Prepare parts by plugging and masking according to engineering drawings for mechanical and chemical finishing processes.
Experience operating production equipment and using measurement tools.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on production machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and product specifications.
Operate vibratory finishing equipment for small parts (7 inches or less).
Strong ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt quickly to new processes.
Perform chemical finishing operations, including Type II passivation, clear coat anodizing, hard coat anodizing, and similar processes.
