High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy experience, preferred
Experience working in a medical field, preferred
Must be able to push a cart and walk distances
Moderate to advanced computer skills
Possess good written and oral communication skills, the ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely, and adjust to changes in work volumes and projects
Excellent customer service skills
A valid phlebotomy certification from an approved laboratory certification agency, such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), National Health Career Association (NHA), or the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT) for Phlebotomist II
Certificates from a technical college where the course was taken are not sufficient; must have sat for a certification exam from an approved agency
Must possess one of the following valid certifications: Medical Assistant (MA) certification from an approved agency such as the American Medical Association (AMA), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Technologist (MT) certification
Nonexempt
Willingness to travel to other MCHS locations for assignments as needed
Schedule: Part Time, 40 hours per pay period, Rotational shifts, may require travel to other sites as needed
