High school graduate or equivalent.
Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency
This includes successful completion of USRC training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis within 8 weeks of hire.
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national commercially available certification program within 18 months of hire date and maintained in good standing thereafter.
