Grinder Operator
Operate grinding machines during the day shift to process workpieces according to established production instructions and dimensional specifications.
Set up, load, and unload parts on the grinder while monitoring operation parameters to maintain consistent output quality throughout the shift.
Inspect finished parts visually and with basic measuring tools to verify they meet defined quality control standards and tolerances.
Follow all plant safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment, to maintain a safe and compliant work area at all times.
Demonstrated experience working as a grinder operator or in a similar grinder role with direct responsibility for machine operation tasks.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle parts, adjust settings, and perform precise movements during grinding processes.
Proven ability to operate industrial machinery safely and consistently while following written instructions and standard operating procedures.
Attention to detail with the ability to identify defects, irregularities, or quality issues and take appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
Commitment to safety compliance including adherence to plant rules, lockout procedures, and use of personal protective equipment in all activities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate with coworkers and supervisors, and support overall production objectives.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
