Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Must be able to occasionally climb a ladder to reach areas to be welded and/or worked on.
Welders will be required to take and pass a welding test consisting of 1/2" plate, open butt 6010 stringer 7018 filler in a vertical position.
Ability to safely use tools and equipment to test and repair assigned equipment
Two or more years' experience welding on oilfield related equipment (or similar type equipment).
Must be able to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawing, and perform normal math calculations easily.
Must be able to walk and stand throughout an eight-to-twelve-hour day.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform high-quality welding in a fast-paced setting
Must be able to occasionally lift 80 lbs. from a table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique.
Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications to fabricate, assemble, and weld structural metal components and products
