Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Competent pipe fitting skills, including the ability to measure and layout from prints
Extensive experience with mechanical rooms, boilers, chillers, and related systems
Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
Familiarity with operating pipe threading equipment and forklifts is desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Install carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping with high precision
Strong ability to do tacking work
Read and interpret blueprints to accurately lay out and install piping systems
Demonstrate proficiency in threading and installing threaded pipe
Engage in threading and installing threaded pipe
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure tasks are completed to specifications
Collaborate with a team to ensure that all installations meet the required standards
Industrial experience is preferred
