HS Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree Preferred.
1-2 years' supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment, preferrably in a union environment.
Understanding of OSHA & MIOSHA safety standards as they apply in a manufacturing environment.
Experience supervising maintenance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience managing production schedules and working successfully through people to accomplish objectives.
Understanding of Lean concepts as applied in a manufacturing environment.
Exposure to Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Kanban a plus.
