High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic in metal manufacturing environment with the ability to troubleshoot
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing
Able to familiarize yourself with our CMMS system and log labor/parts according to established expectations
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and off-shifts as required
Must participate in on-call program and may be required to work additional hours on off shift due to on-call program
Understands quality, PPE requirements, safety, and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures.
The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The work environment is often noisy and hearing protection is required.
The employee will be working near and/or with high-speed automated equipment.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently required to walk.
The employee is required to stand for long periods of time.
