Bachelor's Degree with 4–7 years of prior manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment or a combination of related experience, education and/or training sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering concepts, practices, and procedures related to assembly and production environments
Experience with GD&T; and SolidWorks or similar CAD software for fixture design, tooling development, and engineering documentation
Strong understanding of assembly processes including torque-controlled assembly methods, assembly tooling, and standardized work development
Experience supporting Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) reviews and providing manufacturing input during product development
Experience developing or supporting Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities
Experience developing manufacturing process flows and improving production workflow
Understanding of manufacturing performance metrics including takt time, cycle time, throughput, and line balancing
Ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues and support root cause investigations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, stay within budget and work under pressure
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with production personnel, supervisors, quality, and cross functional engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Company Values
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds
Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the work day
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy
