4+ years: Experience working with nanosecond and/or ultrafast pulsed lasers. Must have comprehensive hands-on experience with oscillator and amplifier beam alignment, pulse characterization, and parametric tuning.
3-5 years: Experience in designing and building experimental test bed setups incorporating but not limited to: narrow linewidth tunable and pulsed lasers, electro-optic elements, acousto-optic elements, beam shaping optics, and/or fiber optics.
Requires a Masters or a PhD in AMO Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related Engineering field.
2 years: Experience in high-speed RF/TTL pulse synthesis, clock synchronization, and jitter control.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
4+ years: Demonstrated experimental work in a research or industrial laser laboratory environment.
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
Work assignment is in Boulder, Colorado.
