Must have basic knowledge of manufacturing and related operations with detailed knowledge of such fields as product design, engineering function, tool design, tool fabrication, ergonomics and EHS, space layout, handling equipment, production machinery and equipment, N/C machinery and equipment, factory methods work, etc...
Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
CATIA V.5, CAD Modeling experience (Desirable Aspects)
Must have the ability to read and review written communication.
B.S degree in a related technical field (e.g.: Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer/Technology, Aeronautics Engineer, or Electrical Engineer) or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 12 years of job related experience
Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
Must be capable of preparing well-written reports and orderly reports
Catia or design modeling a plus
Ability to read and review written communication.
Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and Operating Systems
Three years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Six Sigma or lean certification preferred.
APQP, D&PFMEA;, Control Plan, etc. (Desirable Aspects)
