5+ years or demonstrated experience in high level business development in the land development industry, including but not limited to land surveying, public infrastructure, private development, civil engineering, soils and environmental testing, or land planning
Ability to coordinate and assimilate input from a variety of sources to develop business proposals, along with a track record of growing client portfolios and setting/meeting goals
Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks at once
Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to close win projects
High energy and self-confidence to sustain through long selling cycles
Proven success in developing new client relationships with demonstrated track record of achievement and portfolio growth
Experience in on-site presentations with groups and high-level decision makers. Strong probing aptitude and ability to get to ‘why.'
