Education Requirements - High school diploma or GED.
Experience Requirements- Five years of manufacturing experience.
Strong, proven leadership qualities required.
Language Skills - Ability to read and understand English.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Mathematical skills – Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.
Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Reasoning skills – Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Able to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
Computer skills – Familiar with Microsoft Office products and software that tracks starch usage and updating quality related data for food safety compliance.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including managing inventory and ordering as needed.
