Input and analyze data and document data obtained during all quality inspection processes
Inputs and analyzes statistical data utilizing Infinity or other SPC software
Utilizes precision measuring equipment to accept or reject parts
Performs internal audits in accordance with Company and customer quality control standards
Operates inspection equipment; troubleshoots and resolves issues affecting quality of product
Train other employees as required and ensures inspection methods are consistent and performed in adherence to quality standards and processes
Performs visual and measurement inspection tests including calculating distances, angles, radius tapers, thread and gear data using complex measuring equipment
High School Diploma/GED
Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests
Reads and deciphers complex technical drawings and incorporates tight tolerances into part inspection process
Conducts training classes relating to inspection tools/equipment, processes, GD&T; and technical drawings
Works any and all shifts/days as required
2-4 years of applicable product inspection experience
