Physical demands of this position will require the ability to maneuver in a shop or yard assembly environment.
CITIZENSHIP: Pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.
Demonstrated work experience with ABS HSNC, UL 508a, and other industry standard Best Practice electrical installation requirements
Ability to complete inspection reports with MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) in a clear and timely manner.
Prospective employees must pass a drug and alcohol test and background check as pre-employment screening.
Willingness to work at other Vigor locations and travel offsite as needed.
Required: 2-5 Years' experience as a marine electrical quality control representative with increasing responsibilities and demonstrable success with ABS Class requirements.
Ability to read blueprints / drawings.
Ability to tolerate periods of testing which may include extended shifts and various locations including on the water and in the fabrication area(s).
Experience in a fabrication environment, preferably marine fabrication shop or fabrication site locations.
Periods of walking and standing, climbing on ladders, scaffolding, crouching, twisting, and stooping are often encountered.
