Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Manufacturing Engineer-related occupation
Demonstrable technical expertise in weld fixture design, and weld process design
Demonstrable experience in manufacturing and assembly design for medium-to-heavy industrial manufacturing New Product Development
Demonstrable experience with metal fabrication, welding, assembly and/or paint systems/processes
Demonstrable experience with lean manufacturing principles (work balance charts, process flow maps, non-value add elimination, fishbone diagrams/5 Whys)
Demonstrable experience with 3-D modeling (Solidworks, and Creo), and 2-D Drafting (AutoCAD)
Demonstrable experience with Product Lifecycle Management: ECRs, ECOs, BOM mgmt, and ERP systems (JDE)
Domestic (U.S.) and International travel is required up to 20% to visit suppliers
