Document inspection results, calibration data, and quality reports and support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues
Create, develop, and implement CMM inspection programs using software such as PC DMIS, PolyWorks, or other metrology platforms
Develop, maintain, and operate programs that inspect and verify dimensions of manufactured components
Review blueprints, models, GD &T;, and specifications to determine inspection criteria
Recommend, acquire, and integrate new inspection technologies to improve measurement capability
Conduct dimensional inspections, first article inspections, and verification of production parts and perform 3D scanning and laser/blue light inspection as needed
Ensure products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements by using precision measurement tools and advanced metrology software
Assist production and engineering teams with troubleshooting, design feedback, and resolving measurement related issues and participate in quality audits and ensure compliance with industry standards
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot CMM machines and related inspection equipment

Verify machine set-ups per engineering specifications.
Grinding/machining education.
Conduct government audits, source inspections, as well as incoming and outgoing audits.
Set up and adjust gauges for checking product using masters and hand tools.
Visually and dimensionally inspect product for conformance to specifications.
18 years of age or older.
Adhere to all safety standards.
Ensure accuracy of production transactions.
Ensure accuracy of product identification/marking.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ensure accuracy of all required documentation including Blue Books and all in-process documentation, as required by the Company, the customer and/or the United States Government.
