Strong understanding of API specifications as required by position/Job responsibilities
Ability to interact in a positive manner with the people whose work is being inspected
A basic understanding and commitment to the requirements of ISO and API specifications
Ability to interface with manufacturing personnel
Ability to pass a visual acuity exam (Jager eye exam)
Read blueprints or engineering specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish and dimensions
Accomplish dimensional inspections when assigned in accordance with drawings, engineering documentation and product specifications
Inspect first run parts and/or vendor parts in receiving
Verify calibration of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy before use
Support and adhere to the Quality Management System and API Q1/ISO:9001:2015 including facility specific licenses
Complete and review inspection records as requires by QMS

Must have a Valid Drivers License and maintain a safe driving record accordance with the Fleet Policy.
Must be physically able to walk distances, bench and crouch, climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift/carry objects up to fifty pounds, repetitively and for an external period.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail orientated and highly motivated.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
