Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
Depending on location, a valid drivers license may be required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, those accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).

Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy and physiology. Working knowledge of basic and intermediate life threatening cardiac rhythms, special equipment used in cardiac testing, computers, and medical terminology.

Possess Certified Cardiographic Technician
Associate's degree or higher in a health science field
Three years' experience as a cardiac technician
Obtain Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring certification (CRAT) or National Telemetry Certification (National Telemetry Association) within one year into position. The department will determine which certification is appropriate per the department workflows.
