2-5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read blueprints, machine and inspect completed parts and related documentation
Knowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques (e.g., formalized inspection standards, inspection instructions, best practices) and use inspection tools efficiently
The ability to read and use micrometers, functional and cylindrical gauges, comparators, indicator setups, calibration stickers and scales
Knowledge of nonconformance procedures and processes when parts fail inspection
Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) such as perpendicularity, parallelism, flatness
Must have math skills to be able to set up the machine and possess strong hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift/carry/pull/push up to 20lbs
Relevant certifications (e.g., CNC Machining Certification) are a plus
