High School Diploma/GED
1-3 years of applicable product inspection experience
Under supervision, performs visual and measurement inspection tests including calculating distances, angles, radius tapers, thread and gear data using complex measuring equipment (i.e. Zeiss or Mitutoyo Coordinate Measuring Machines, Smartscope or RAM)
Reads and deciphers complex technical drawings and incorporates tight tolerances into part inspection process
Inputs and analyzes statistical data utilizing Infinity or other SPC software, documents data obtained during all quality inspection processes and examines statistical data to determine and maintain quality and product reliability
If applicable, Operates inspection equipment; troubleshoots and resolves issues affecting quality of product and reports issues to leadership as needed
Performs internal audits in accordance with Company and customer quality control standards
