State of Minnesota Engineer License 2nd Class ‘B'
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
Operation of Site's boiler and associated equipment
Operation of De-ionized water units (DIW)
Boiler Engineer must have knowledge of and ensure compliance of all EHS requirements
This individual must possess, as a minimum, a State of Minnesota Engineer License 2nd Class ‘B'
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the State of Minnesota, Department of Labor and Industry, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Site Quality System (ISO), Safety rules and regulations, and Site Personnel Policies
Boiler water will be tested according to established procedures outlined by the chemical supplier contract
The boiler will be blown down (bottom and/or surface) after the water test is complete
Engineer is required to monitor the plant status by a structured and documented ‘ROUNDS' system
Each engineer is required to carryout the shift duties according to established safety procedures as documented in the plant safety manual
Each shift engineer is required to conduct him or herself in accordance with established personnel practices
The engineer on watch is required to act as a safety stand-by for activities located at or near the boiler room
