Contract position based out of Lansing, MI
On-site role
Hands‑on work with Cisco network infrastructure, including access, distribution, and chassis‑based switches
Assist with SD‑WAN rollouts across Sparrow and West environments
Support firewall platforms (Palo Alto and Cisco Firepower) depending on assignment
Follow standard equipment configurations and operational practices (no deep architecture design required)
Provide engineering backfill and project support for existing architects and network engineers
Support network hardware refresh initiatives, including: Switch refreshes across sites, Distribution refresh across 12 locations, Chassis refresh at West
Three Network Engineers to support critical infrastructure initiatives across the environments as part of the broader One Epic program
This is an onsite role with an anticipated start timeframe of June/July
This is a fully onsite position in Lansing, MI
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr

Bachelor's degree required with focus on insurance, business administration, finance or management, or equivalent experience may be considered
One to two years of experience in insurance industry or related field required
P/C Resident Producer license course to be completed within six months of hire
P/C Resident Producer license required to be obtained within 12 months of hire
Experience working with project methodologies required
Functional and system design specifications development experience required
Experience with Farm Bureau Insurance products and billing systems required
Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education required
