Must be at least 21 years old
Valid Concealed Pistol License (CPL) required to carry a firearm while on duty in Michigan
Completion of an approved firearms training course (classroom instruction and range practice)
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience as an armed security officer, law enforcement, or military
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including interior and exterior patrols and regular use of stairs
Ability to respond quickly to incidents, including moving at a brisk pace or short jogs, and to safely escort or physically support individuals when trained and required
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as doors, gates, and security equipment
