High School diploma or equivalent
Three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory or management experience within the passenger transportation industry.
Comprehensive knowledge of the laws, ordinances, and regulatory requirements governing transit operations.
Thorough understanding of transit system functions, including staff responsibilities and operational department workflows.
Demonstrated ability to navigate labor relations matters and collaborate effectively with union partners, including handling labor grievances and participating in negotiations.
Position is required to live within a 30 mile radius of the Thousand Oaks Transit Center.
Certifications according to local contract as required.
Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Experience in development of runs, shift bids and run cuts.
Ability to write and speak English.
