Trade school certificate in mechanical training or equivalent work experience performing mechanical repairs
Valid Drivers License
Read and comprehend schematics, diagrams, piping plans, and other manufacturer-supplied documentation
Follow NASSCOs energy recognition, personal protective equipment, and lock/tag out procedures
Ability to fabricate using cutting is preferable, but is not required
Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures, rulers, dial indicators, calipers, depth gauges, feeler gauges, and similar
Ability to use basic hand tools as well as specialized tools - like gear pullers, hydraulic jacks, torque wrenches, impact wrenches, etc.
Work in varied whole body positions to perform needed repair work
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces with limited visibility, and be able to work any shift
Understand written and verbal instructions, hear warning signals, and read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations, and warnings
Inspect equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations
Perform equipment service and repairs using test equipment, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other power tools
Fill out various required reports and documentation including work orders, inspection forms, discrepancy sheets, logbooks, and service forms
Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on all utility distribution throughout the facilities
Perform repairs to buildings, structures, production equipment, and portable production support equipment in facilities
Utilize mechanical knowledge to quickly diagnose failures
Physical requirement: regularly lift/carry up to 100 lbs. assisted and up to 60 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to work in outdoors environments and exposure to environmental factors as described
