Minimum 3 years working in a fabrication environment doing a variety of assignments and tasks.
Able to grind metal in terms of prep work or deburr to verbal and written instructions
Able to apply basic use of hand and power tools
Able to read a tape measure and accurately mark or scribe locations within 1/16" (.062")
Basic knowledge of welding with some formal training in GMAW including an understanding of FCAW
Good understanding of basic weld symbols
Good understanding of basic blue print reading
Qualified in both a flat (1F and 1G) and horizontal (2F and 2G) positions
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, push, pull, grasp.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
The worker has protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Subject to hazards including, electrical current, moving mechanical parts, chips, dust, exposure to chemicals, debris and intense heat.
