Vehicle Shop Manager - Year Round - Full Time

8 years of previous combined work history/education in vehicle maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance, or a related field required
Strong working knowledge of gas, diesel, tracked, and wheeled vehicles, preferably within a resort or similar operational environment
Knowledge of Hydraulics, Electrical systems, and Equipment Maintenance
Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA, MSDS, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Proficiency with computer systems and maintenance record-keeping
Ability to operate heavy equipment, snowmobiles, and all other company vehicles & equipment
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
Proven ability to build and lead successful teams
Valid driver's license
Must be self-motivated and have good communication skills
Must have own tools
Ability to adhere to all safety policies
Communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written
Must have valid driver's license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standards
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Vocational certificate(s) or training preferred
Minimum 18 years of age
