Starting wage is $16.90 and up to $23.80 depending on experience
Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 lbs. through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending
Using the overhead hoists requires the ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Ability to stand and work in various positions for several hours at a time
Ability to read and perform basic computer data entry
Able to work in a team environment to identify and solve problems, attend and participate in required company meetings
Must be able to regularly rotate jobs to meet job schedule, team needs or to meet any safety recommendations
Must work at a reasonable pace (measured by production efficiency) and within our quality standards to insure timely completion of tasks and must work overtime as required to meet customer needs
Must work in a safe manner following safety procedures, including: wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), completing maintenance requests and communicating hazards to co-workers and management

This position is an entry level position into the Cargo Assembly group.
As a Mechanical Assembler I, you will work under the direct supervision of a Manufacturing Team Leader.
Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
Operates hand tools, air tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintains a clean and safe work area.
