5-10 years relevant work experience
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, crawling
MS Office, ERP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro-E/CREO use of various electronic instruments and measuring tools
Able to analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layouts of equipment and workcells for maximum efficiency with minimal supervision
Will include design of tooling, lifting devices, fixtures, etc.
Evaluate safety procedures and reduce hazards throughout the plant
Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards
Meet with internal groups to support manufacturing needs
Mentor and assist in the training and development of junior level engineers and technicians
Strong awareness of manufacturing costs and process improvement
