High school graduate or GED
2 years of relevant experience in aluminum welding.
Prior experience with aluminum pulse mig is required.
Willingness to work for 40+ hours per week.
Capable of standing continuously for extended periods.
Knowledge of welding equipment, including proper setup and usage for aluminum pulse mig welding.
Familiarity with the metric system.
Capable of manually lifting raw materials, final products, and packed aluminum items for shipment, weighing up to 60 pounds or using a hoist.
Proficient in reading and interpreting documents presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
This includes safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals, and procedure manuals.

Visual Requirements: Must be able to pass a Standard Jaeger's Test chart for near vision acuity reading J1 letters or equivalent with or without corrective aids and pass a color vision test using Ishihara's Tests for Color Deficiency.
Must be able to go on vessels
Regular, reliable attendance on-site is an essential function of the job.
Must have dependable transportation.
Weekend work and/or extended hours may be required.
Must be able to access all work locations, including government and private shipyards and/or vessels.
