Tool Room Technician

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T; knowledge
Proficiency in manual machining (essential for tool room work)
Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Knowledge of tool steels, heat treating, and surface finishing processes
Ability to work with tight tolerances and precision components
3–7+ years of experience in a tool room or precision machining environment
Experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes
Ability to prove out programs, set machine offsets, and adjust tooling
Experience manufacturing and repairing fixtures, dies, jigs, and specialized tooling
High School Diploma or GED required

Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred
Excellent problem solving skills, judgment and decision making skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with minimal guidance
