BS degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering with hands-on Quality manufacturing experience preferably in the aerospace industry; Master's degree (Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Aerospace Engineering) preferred
Working knowledge of blueprint interpretation and GD&T; in accordance with ANSI/Y-14.5
Solid command in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, MiniTab
Proficiency in process control tools (SPC, Process Capability Analysis, audits, MSA, FMEA, etc)
Expert in root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) analysis tools such as 5 Whys and Fish Bone diagram, and systematized approach such as 8D, RCCA, 7 Step, CAR, etc.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9102, AS9100 standards, FAA regulations
Unquestionable commitment to, and ability to facilitate actions in, continuous improvement efforts
Ability to provide leadership, training to direct reporting personnel as required
Great communication skills especially with production personnel, Engineering personnel (Manufacturing, Design and Quality) and Management staff
