Typically2–4 years of prior manufacturing experience or a combination of related experience, education, and/or training tosufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job
A two-year technical degree or approved apprenticeship in related coursework (i.e., CNC mill or lathe) is a plus
Working knowledge of GD&T;, machine tool programming languages (G & M codes), and blueprint reading
Ability to interpret machine tool programming languages toanticipatemachine action, use “Distance to Go”,and use feed rate and spindle speed overrides
Has knowledge of metalworking tools, work holding, and other common concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds
Requires intermittent standing, walking,sittingand bending throughout thework day
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc
Must be able to wearappropriate PersonalProtection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy
