Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
Knowledge of health and welfare benefits programs and regulatory requirements for benefits administration (i.e., COBRA, Section 125 plans, FMLA, USERRA, HIPAA, 401(K), ERISA, and record keeping requirements)
Experience working within HCM and benefits technology systems
Solid communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly to any audience including large group settings
Ability to prepare clear, concise, and effective written communications
Firm organizational, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and data review skills
Proficiency in relevant technology (i.e., benefits management software, Microsoft Suite, HCM, etc.) and experience with Excel (i.e., lookups, pivot tables, formatting, filtering, formulas, etc.)
Ability to adapt to changing regulations and business requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to collect, interpret, and utilize data to make recommendations
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Experience with UKG Pro HCM and PlanSource Benefits Administration module
