Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience) is desired
3–5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or a product specialist role within the industrial automation or electrical distribution industry
Hands-on experience with core automation technologies, such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Industrial PCs, Industrial Sensors, and SCADA solutions are ideal, but not required at time of hire
Candidate must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task, and able to meet deadlines
Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle, including lead qualification, technical discovery, proposal building, and closing
Ability to travel occasionally (1–2 times per year) for trade shows or client site visits
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
